The Benvenuto Winery was born from the resourcefulness of Giovanni Benvenuto, who after moving from Abruzzo to realized his dream of creating a winery by exploiting the potential of land appreciation that belonged to his parental grandfather. The constant commitment & improvement of agronomic and oenological techniques have allowed the company to stand out for quality production that respects and reinterprets the natural & cultural characteristics of the area.

Nose: intense, complex & aromatic; marked mineral notes, fine essences of citrus & flowers

Flavor/Finish: sensations of freshness, richness & elegance, with great intensity of flavors; fruity at first, with a soft finish

Process: grapes are destemmed & gently pressed, cold maceration for 24 hours, then decanted for 48 hours

New York Times describes this wine as, “pungent & perfumed....this one comes from Calabria, the toe of the Italian boot, where Giovanni Benvenuto farms organically. The wine is fragrant, naturally, and goes down easily. Like many Muscats, it’s a great summer refresher.
