Bricco Barone is a lovely zone on the hills of Monforte d’Alba in Rinaldi. The Nebbiolo d’Alba produced from this soil is robust, with great longevity and a rich bouquet.

Color: ruby red color, with maroon reflections

Nose: fragrant aromas of violet, raspberry, cinnamon, tabacco & black pepper

Flavor/Finish: substantially rich & full-bodied, yet harmonious, with moderate tannins, along with spice & fruit notes

Varietal: 100% Nebbiolo

Food Pairing: risotto, roasted meat, white truffle fondue, lightly fried foods

Process: barrel aged for several months followed by assemblage in stainless steel, then in a bottle for a few months

Serving Temperature: 56-60 °F

Alcohol: 14.5-15%
