“Campo del Gatto” (“field of cat”) is the oldest vineyard of our estate, with wines more than 70 years old. This fully south-facing vineyard is situated on a limestone-rich “spine,” where clay marl surface outcrops provide a harsher soil that tempers the variety’s natural vigor, responsible for a good structure & richness in color.
