Chianti Classico Riserva D.O.C.G

A member of the noble Uberti family of Florence, Saint Bernard degli Uberti was an abbot of Vallombrosa, a bishop of Parma, and a cardinal. He was exiled in 1104 and some sources state that he was dragged violently from the altar.

Color: bright ruby red, with shades of burgundy

Nose: full, sweet, fruity with hints of vanilla& spice

Flavor/Finish: medium tannic structure, sweet at first, with full-central taste, good acidity & persistent fruity finish

Varietal: primarily Sangiovese, with complimentary varietals

Food Pairing: simple white & red meat dishes, mushrooms & dry cheeses

Process: fermentation in steel, aged in2nd year oak barrique & barrels for 12months with 6 months bottle aging

Serving Temperature: 64 - 66 °F

Alcohol: 13.5%
