Le Cupole was first produced in 1995. It is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon, Merlot & Petit Verdot, with percentages varying with each vintage. Fermented in stainless steel & aged in one to three year old barriques & cement, Le Cupole is velvety & approachable. This wine hits the palate with exuberance, full of fleshy, bright fruit, extracted tannins, & rich color.

Color: medium ruby red

Nose: freshly cut flowers, sweet red berry, mint, blood orange

Flavor/Finish: dark fruit intensity & richness, with cherry, blackberry & plum; tight natural constructed mouthfeel, layered phenolic tightness & medium finish

Varietal: 40% Cabernet Franc, 37% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot

Food Pairing: grilled wild meat

Process: fermentation in steel vats, followed by 15 days of skin maceration; malolactic fermentation in steel, maturation in French oak barrels; aged in bottle

Serving Temperature: 60 - 62 °F

Alcohol: 15.0%
