Pinot Grigio (grigio = grey in Italian) gets its name from the color of its grapes, which are a greyish purple. First planted in Burgundy in the Middle Ages as Pinot Gris, the varietal arrived in Italy in the 1800s. Today, Pinot Grigio is produced throughout Italy; however, most notably in the Firuli-Venezia Giulia region.

Flavor/Finish: light-medium bodied, fresh & complex, with flavors of lemon, apple & sage, backed with subtle minerality
