The Grave, which is situated between the provinces of Udine & Pordenone, hosts the most famous clone “cradle” in the world. It is from here, that the highest quality rootstock, destined for the finest Italian producers, depart.

Nose: berries & violet

Flavor/Finish: fresh & dry, with flavors of berries & violet, with a softly bitter finish  

Varietal: 100% Pinot Nero

Food Pairing:  short maturing cheese, delicate meat, stewed fish  

Process: maceration at controlled temperatures, remontage (pumping over), fermentation in stainless steel

Serving Temperature: 57 - 61 °F

Alcohol: 12.5%
