The city of “Neretum”, now known as Nardò and its Marina today called Santa Maria al Bagno, and the respective surrounding in 272 BC. they were subjected to Roman domination. It was the Romans in Santa Maria al Bagno who built the “Emporium Nauna” port at the service of the city of Neretum. It was a fishing port in particular, created to start intense trade. Being Nauna a sumptuous elegant and velvety wine it was easy to associate it with this important an historic port.

Nose: A jubilation of perfumes envelops the nose. From the balsamic embrace, impetuous hints of ripe fruit are released and slowly slip into an intense finish of chocolate and tobacco
Flavor/Finish: Velvety and enveloping, with tannins capable of gently expanding, leaving a pleasant length of taste
Varietal: Negroamaro 60%, Primitivo 40%

Process: Alberello Pugliese training, hand-picked grapes, aging 9 months in French oak tonneau and 10 in bottle
