Cabernet Franc is the parent grape of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot. It has a unique bell pepper aroma/taste caused by naturally occurring compounds called “pyrazines.” They act as a defense system against pests, allowing the grapes to grow in an array of climates, each bringing out different flavors & characteristics of the grape.

Flavor/Finish: when young, easy to drink, yet intense & herbal, with lovely grape flavor; when aged, round, full-bodied & tannic, with rich, aromatic flavors
