Friuli Grave, as its name suggests, is a flat valley with soils made of large stones. The stones heat up during the day & cool at night, helping ripen the grapes during the day, while maintaining their characteristically high acidity. The location’s temperatures are also regulated via the Adriatic Sea, which helps bring out the nuanced flavors of this Sauvignon.
