The Pitars world is a small, ancient world, rich of the true values of Friulian tradition & of the passionate care that characterizes every step & every detail of the complex winemaking process. This is made in a technologically advanced winery with a highly specialized winemaking system.

Color: brilliant pale pink

Nose: delicate fragrance of fresh red fruit & floral notes  

Flavor/Finish: ripe strawberry & raspberry, with subtle floral notes & a fresh finish; elegant, creamy & persistent perlage  

Varietal: 40% Chardonnay, 30% Malvasia Istriana, 30% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso

Food Pairing: ideal as an aperitif, with light dishes or light desserts  

Process: Charmat Method - must extracted from the pulp by soft pressing; 1st fermentation in steel vats at controlled temp; 2nd fermentation in low-temp pressure tanks; aged 6 months in bottle  

Serving Temperature: 45 - 50 °F

Alcohol: 11.5% Pressure: 4.5 bar
