Pressenda is a spectacular vineyard overlooking the Castle of Serralunga d’Alba, in Monforte d’Alba. The wine will develop in the bottle for several years, yet is already enjoyable thanks to the natural acid that refreshes the palate. Pressenda is the expression of the perfect match between the power of the terroir & the elegance provided by the cellar’s style.

Color: intense ruby red, with orange reflections

Nose: intense red fruits, spices, licorice & balsamic nuances  

Flavor/Finish: softness & elegance first approach the palate, followed by powerful tannic strength & a long, folding finish; Flavors of rich red fruits, florals & balsamic   

Varietal: 100% Nebbiolo

Food Pairing: risotto, roasted & grilled meats, mature cheeses  

Process: aged in 500 L barrels for 9 months, then 50 hectoliter barrels for 21 months; assemblage, then rested in bottle for 15 months  

Serving Temperature: 59-60 °F

Alcohol: 15%
