Millesimato means “vintage.” It helps discern a degree of quality & purity in wines. As most sparkling wines are NV (nonvintage), to be classified Millesimato, a prosecco must meet strict EU standards, including containing at least 85% of the vintage that is stated on the label.

Color: pale straw yellow, with greenish shades  

Nose: rich range of unripe apples, lemons & grapefruit, with notes of wisteria  

Flavor/Finish: notes of apple, pear & melon; fresh & off-dry; full-bodied, with pleasant acidity & a fine, persistent perlage  

Varietal: 100% Glera

Food Pairing: versatile as an aperitif, with hors d’oeuvres, light dishes, or pastries & cakes  

Process: Charmat Method - 1st fermentation in steel vats at controlled temp, select yeast added; 2nd fermentation in low temp pressure tanks; aged 6 months in bottle  

Serving Temperature: 45 - 50 °F

Alcohol: 11.5% Pressure: 4.5 bar  

Residual Sugar: 8.2 g/L
