Situated high in the hills above San Casciano dei Bagni, in a remote corner of southern Tuscany, the Sancaba vineyards benefit from cooler conditions than most of central Italy. Here pinot noir finds suitable conditions & quickdraining, calcium rich soils, which force the roots to dig deep underground, producing mineral rich wines notable for their complex aromas, rich juiciness & underlying mineral backbone.
