Vigna Casi is the expression of a single vineyard. This is our timehonored Riserva, obtained exclusively from Sangiovese grapes from the Casi vineyard, which is 420 meters above sea level & has a warm, dark & mineral soil.

Color: ruby red, with increasing garnet hues, due to aging

Nose: alluring aromas of violet, cherry & berries, combined with spicy notes

Flavor/Finish: round, velvety & elegant, thick & smooth tannins, persistent & intense finish; cherry, blueberry & licorice notes

Varietal: 100% Sangiovese

Food Pairing: ragu, wild game, aged cheeses such as pecorino

Process: 21 months between Slavonian & French oak casks, a small % is aged in tonneaux of 2nd use

Serving Temperature: 64 - 66 °F

Alcohol: 13.5%
